Innovative 3-D computer-imaging technology designs your entire treatment plan from the present position of your teeth to your finished smile. From this plan, transparent thermoplastic aligners are generated. Similar in style to teeth-whitening trays, Invisalign aligners are custom made to slide over your original teeth. When you install the first set of aligners, they use gentle forces to shift your teeth into a new position. About two weeks later, you replace them with the second set of aligners, and progress through treatment for approximately a year.
